Your account & data
Choose "Delete my PuzzleDuck account" in the form, or email hello@puzzleduck.co.uk with the subject "Delete my PuzzleDuck account". Include the email address used for your PuzzleDuck website or app account, your name, and any order or booking reference you have. After we verify the request belongs to you, PuzzleDuck Ltd will delete the account and associated personal data described below. We aim to complete verified deletion requests within 30 days.
We delete your PuzzleDuck website account and linked PuzzleDuck app account or guest profile, including name, email, password and security settings, avatar and display preferences, notification preferences, hunt progress, entitlements, team memberships tied to your account, hunt photos you submitted as evidence, and device or push identifiers linked to your account. Once deleted, you will no longer be able to sign in to PuzzleDuck on the website or in the app with that account.
We may keep order, payment, invoice, and tax records needed for accounting, fraud prevention, and legal obligations, typically for up to 6 years. We may keep a short record of the deletion request itself for up to 12 months to show that we actioned it. Anonymised analytics that cannot identify you may be retained. Backup copies are removed on the normal backup rotation, usually within 90 days. If you only want marketing stopped, say so and we will unsubscribe you without deleting the whole account.
