Buy your pass and check your email
Complete checkout on the website. Your receipt includes instructions for accessing your hunt. Follow any account setup or email verification steps to claim it, then install PuzzleDuck and sign in with the email used for your order.
Head to the start
Open the hunt when your group is ready to play. Read its route rules, then use the app prompts to look, discuss and solve. Timing, stop order and the mix of challenges depend on the hunt you choose.

Duration depends on the number and spacing of stops, challenge difficulty, group pace, and the booked play window. The public hunt page or booking details give the estimate for that route.
Where do hunts start?
For bespoke hunts, you can specify the start point or ask PuzzleDuck to recommend one. Public hunts show their route facts before play.
Are hunts entirely outside?
They are outdoor by default, but bespoke routes can include indoor stops such as galleries, museums, offices, venues, or on-site buildings when that supports the experience.
Does every player need a phone?
Phone requirements depend on the hunt format. The public hunt page or booking confirms whether each player needs the app. Anyone playing on a phone should bring it charged and have mobile data available.
What happens if the weather is bad?
