Be comfortable

Adventure is much more fun when your feet aren’t staging a protest. Wear comfy shoes, dress for the weather and check the forecast before you head out.

If it’s warm, take some water. If rain looks likely, bring something waterproof. Come prepared for exploring, wandering and the occasional unexpected detour.

Bring your phone

Your phone is your guide, puzzle master and key to adventure. Make sure it’s fully charged before you set off. A power bank is a good idea for longer adventures, and keep an eye on your battery as you go.

You’ll play in the PuzzleDuck app. Have a connection available to open the hunt and sync your progress.

Look up, watch where you’re walking and stay aware of roads, other people and everything happening around you.

Accessibility

We want everyone to enjoy our treasure hunts, so we always do our best to choose locations that are as accessible and inclusive as possible. Wherever we can, routes are planned to avoid unnecessary obstacles and to make the experience suitable for the widest range of participants. However, our hunts take place in real towns and cities, and some locations are beyond our control. Historic buildings, uneven surfaces, temporary roadworks, public events, maintenance work or other unforeseen circumstances may occasionally make a location difficult or impossible to access. While we regularly review our routes and update them where possible, we cannot guarantee that every location will be fully accessible at all times.

We want as many people as possible to enjoy a PuzzleDuck adventure. Real towns and cities can change: roadworks, events, closed ramps or lifts and other temporary obstacles may affect access.
