Be comfortable

Adventure is much more fun when your feet aren’t staging a protest. Wear comfy shoes, dress for the weather and check the forecast before you head out.

If it’s warm, take some water. If rain looks likely, bring something waterproof. Come prepared for exploring, wandering and the occasional unexpected detour.

Bring your phone

Your phone is your guide, puzzle master and key to adventure. Make sure it’s fully charged before you set off. A power bank is a good idea for longer adventures, and keep an eye on your battery as you go.

You’ll play in the PuzzleDuck app. Have a connection available to open the hunt and sync your progress.

Look up, watch where you’re walking and stay aware of roads, other people and everything happening around you.

About this hunt

Christmas is the most colourful time of the year - but Smudge has other ideas. He wants to drain all the colour out of the festive season and bring gloom to the city of Liverpool.

It is up to you and your team to help Huntley visit a series of locations, find specific information, solve puzzles, take colourful photos and stop Smudge carrying out his mischievous plan.
